Pendantlight E17 Circle / Clear
Glass lighting made by "qualia-glass works," a studio in Minokamo City, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. Akiko Hayashi, a glass artist who handles everything from design to manufacturing, creates these lights by herself.
The pendant light, which creates a sense of space without oppression, is recommended for small spaces such as entryways and hallways.
*The metal part at the top of the shade is brass.

1997年〜2002年 大阪府大阪市 朝日硝子製作所勤務。 2002年〜2008年 大阪府和泉市 fresco勤務。2010年より岐阜県美濃加茂市にガラス工房qualia-glassworks（クオリアグラスワークス）を構え、吹きガラスによるうつわなどの制作を行う。シンプルな透明の作品は、吹きガラスならではの柔らかな質感があり、控えめでありながら美しい存在感が魅力。サイズや重さなど、細かな調整が繰り返された定番のうつわは、作家の目指す「ちょうどいい感じ」を体感できる使い心地。ペンダントライト、スタンドライトなどの照明作品も手がけている。GALLERY crossingでは毎年冬に個展を開催。
