Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1984. Graduated in Urushi lacquering from the Department of Crafts, Kyoto City University of Arts in 2008. In 2014, she completed her studies at the Tajimi City Pottery Design And Technical Center. She is now based in Tajimi, Gifu. This contemporary work's appeal lies in its presence which reminds the viewer of a sculpture. At first glance, the simple form leaves an impression, but taking a closer look, you will find yourself fascinated by the texture of the surface that gives the appearance depth with the lighting and shadows, as well as the silent black representations that the artist obsessed over.
