光井威善

Japan｜Glass

1987年広島県生まれ。倉敷芸術科学大学大学院芸術研究科工芸専攻修了。2012年より富山ガラス工房での勤務を経て2016年独立。現在富山県にて制作。繊細な技術を用いた工芸的な美しさを持つ実用のうつわ「SILENCE」と、ユーモラスで自由な表現を感じるアートピース「Bottle People」は両極端にあるように見えるが、根底に流れる美意識は共通したものがあり、実用と非実用のガラス表現を行き来する現代的感覚の工芸作家のひとりとして、今後の活躍に期待されるアーティスト。

Takeyoshi Mitsui

Toyama, Japan｜Glass

Born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1987. Graduated from the Graduate School of Art and Design, Kurashiki University of Science of the Arts. Currently lives and works in Toyama Prefecture. Creates delicate expressions of vessels using high technology and art pieces with a sense of humor.
