The beautifully pale blue-gray world created by Kenichi Sasakawa. Kenichi Sasakawa | Japan｜Glass
1981年神奈川県生まれ。多摩美術大学美術学部工芸学科ガラスプログラム 卒業。多摩美術大学大学院美術研究家博士前期課程工芸専攻 修了。財団法人金沢卯辰山工芸工房 研修生。2010年〜2014年 多摩美術大学工芸学科ガラスプログラム 助手を勤める。現在は京都府の工房にて制作を行う。作品は実用のうつわから、アートピースまで、再生ガラスに金属などを調合することで作り出される独特のガラス生地と、作家の美意識を感じさせる端正なデザインが特徴。ガラスという透明な存在にノイズを与える肌理の表情と、静かな佇まいに詩的な魅力がある。GALLERY crossingでの主な個展：2020年「肌理 Texture」。
